History of the Chronicles. Back in 1980 Mary Arnheim and Clara Rodgers assembled accounts from MSA members about their history at Michabou Shores, beginning in 1957. The result was a 1980 publication entitled A Chronicle of Michabou Shores.

In 1991 a second round of accounts was collected and became Part II of the Chronicle

In 2020 it was hard to believe that 30 years had passed since the Chronicle Part II was published! There were so many new stories and updated stories to tell. As Archivist for Michabou Shores, Dorothy Byers announced at the 2020 Annual Meeting an interest in continuing our stories, and sought volunteers for a Compilation Committee. Committee members were Berit Dayton and Jean Ann Wolfe. Part III covering 1992-2021 was published in the summer of 2021.

Here are the areas that members were asked to address in the past. It seems appropriate to keep the same format.
1.       Date of purchase of land, and of building
2.       Date of occupancy
3.       Former owners, if any
4.       Why you chose Michabou; what brought you here
5.       What you enjoy most here
6.       Interesting anecdotes and experiences
